Specialized simulator for Tu-95 aircraft navigator is designated for tuition of solution of navigation tasks and training of navigators in navigation within the scope of their duties since take-off till landing, including situations with failures and malfunctions.
Simulator provides possibility of training of trainees for the following tasks:take-off with visual observation of runway, line of horizon and lighting equipment (at night), represented on display screen;
climb and formation flight;
enroute flight with mixed application of available navigation means;
performance of tactical maneuvering;
descent and exit from formation flight;
approach and landing with visual observation of runway, line of horizon and lighting equipment (at night), represented on display screen;
training of execution of navigator's calculations;
training of actions in case of equipment failures;
objective checks and evaluation of trainee actions.
